Neogen Corporation announced the appointment of Jennifer Evans Stacey as chief legal and compliance officer and board secretary.

Stacey brings more than 25 years of experience leading legal, compliance, governance, and corporate affairs functions in the life sciences sector. Her background includes more than a decade serving as a chief legal and compliance officer for publicly traded companies as well as experience as a public company board member.

Leadership Experience in Life Sciences

Most recently, Stacey served as chief legal and compliance officer and secretary at Galera Therapeutics, a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology therapies.

Earlier in her career, she held chief legal officer positions at several organizations including The Wistar Institute, Antares Pharma, FXI, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, and Aventis Behring.

She currently serves on the board of directors of Context Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing T cell-engaging bispecific antibodies for solid tumors.

Supporting Governance and Strategic Growth

Neogen leadership said Stacey’s appointment supports the company’s focus on strengthening governance and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
