New World Screwworm Reaches U.S. Livestock as Elanco Activates Response Effort

New World screwworm has officially reached U.S. livestock, prompting Elanco Animal Health to activate a portfolio of treatment and prevention tools for producers, veterinarians and pet owners. As the parasite resurfaces north of the Florida Keys for the first time in more than 50 years, the company says it is working alongside federal agencies and industry partners to help contain its spread and minimize the impact on animal health, welfare and producer livelihoods. Elanco Raises 2026 Outlook Following Strong First-Quarter Growth

Elanco Animal Health reported double-digit revenue growth in the first quarter of 2026, driven by strong performance from companion animal products including Credelio Quattro and Zenrelia. The company also raised its full-year revenue, EBITDA and EPS guidance while improving its leverage outlook.
