Chewy has agreed to acquire veterinary platform Modern Animal, adding 29 clinics and a membership-based care model as the company expands its integrated pet healthcare ecosystem.
Chewy reported fiscal 2025 net sales of $12.6 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $719 million, with the company highlighting continued customer growth and strong cash generation heading into 2026.
Chewy announced plans to acquire SmartEquine (formerly SmartPak Equine) from Covetrus, expanding its footprint in the equine health category and strengthening its recurring revenue base.
