The designation formalizes the company’s long-standing presence in Wamego, where it operates manufacturing, research and development, and scientific operations supporting products used by cattle producers around the world.

William Weldon, chief executive officer of Axiota Animal Health, said the move reflects the company’s continued investment in innovation and global cattle health solutions.

He noted that the Wamego location has been central to the company’s operations and will continue to support the development of technologies designed to improve herd health and productivity.

Among its products are Lactipro, a rumen-native probiotic designed to support rumen health, and Multimin 90, an FDA-approved injectable supplement containing zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium intended to support cattle health and reproduction.

These products are used by beef and dairy producers seeking non-antibiotic solutions to help cattle maintain health and resilience during periods of stress and transition.
