Livestock and companion animal portfolios both post growth

The Livestock business generated $1.041 billion in sales, up 8%, reflecting higher demand for ruminant and poultry products.

Companion Animal revenue reached $734 million, an increase of 7%, which Merck attributed primarily to new product launches. Within the portfolio, sales of the BRAVECTO line totaled $359 million, compared with $335 million during the same quarter last year.

Company raises full-year sales outlook

Merck increased and narrowed its full-year 2026 worldwide sales guidance to $66.3 billion to $67.3 billion, compared with its previous outlook of $65.8 billion to $67.0 billion.
