Cal-Maine Foods has appointed Haley R. Fisackerly and Michael J. Highfield, Ph.D., as independent members of its Board of Directors, effective June 23, while increasing the size of the Board from eight to ten directors.
According to Board Chair Dolph Baker, the appointments add expertise in operations, finance, infrastructure, governance, and strategic leadership as the company continues to diversify its egg-based food business.
Fisackerly currently serves as President and CEO of Entergy Mississippi, while Highfield is Provost and Executive Vice President of Mississippi Christian University. Both will serve on the Board’s Compensation, Audit, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
Following the appointments, seven of Cal-Maine Foods’ ten directors are independent.
