- Ignite’s learning assistant, Sparky, allows team members to ask questions and be directed to relevant resources from the company’s vetted content.
- Sparky is trained exclusively on Ignite’s expert-developed veterinary content and does not generate answers using information from the open internet, according to the company.
- Role-based courses and certificate programs provide longer-term professional development alongside shorter microlearning resources.
- Ignite says the platform is intended to support onboarding and staff development while reducing the amount of time managers spend answering recurring questions and recreating practice resources.
Ignite Veterinary Solutions has launched Unlimited, a new platform combining veterinary staff education, on-demand workplace resources and an AI-powered learning assistant in a single practice-wide subscription.
The platform is designed primarily for veterinary receptionists, veterinary assistants and practice managers and is intended to provide both immediate support for everyday workplace situations and longer-term professional development.
Rather than requiring employees to search through a traditional training library, Unlimited allows users to access resources ranging from quick instructional videos and checklists to structured courses and certificate programs.
AI assistant connects staff with veterinary-specific resources
A central component of Unlimited is Sparky, Ignite’s learning assistant.
Team members can ask Sparky a question and use it to locate relevant information and resources within Ignite’s existing content. According to the company, the assistant is trained exclusively on vetted, expert-developed veterinary content and does not generate answers using information from the open internet.
Ignite positions the tool as a way to help employees locate existing resources more quickly rather than as a replacement for their professional judgment.
For example, a veterinary receptionist encountering an unfamiliar client conversation could use the platform to locate an appropriate script or resource while dealing with the situation. A practice manager onboarding an employee could similarly retrieve an existing onboarding checklist rather than creating a new one.
Training and ready-to-use practice tools
Unlimited includes hundreds of courses and thousands of lessons, videos and other resources developed for veterinary support teams.
Role-based courses and certificate programs provide structured professional development, while shorter microlearning videos are intended for employees who need a quick introduction or refresher on a task.
The platform also includes ready-to-use documents, forms, scripts, checklists and templates.
Receptionists, veterinary assistants and practice managers can have individual logins, with the platform accessible through desktop and mobile devices.
Designed to reduce the training burden on managers
Ignite says Unlimited was developed in response to a challenge it sees within veterinary practices: training materials may be available, but employees do not necessarily have easy access to the appropriate information at the moment they need it.
By combining immediate answers and practical resources with structured education, the company says the platform could help practices accelerate onboarding, create greater consistency among team members and reduce repeated questions directed to managers.
“Veterinary medicine has talked for years about developing and retaining great people, but the traditional model asks busy practices to find time they simply don’t have,” Mark Shaw, CEO of Ignite Veterinary Solutions, said in the announcement. “Unlimited changes that. It gives veterinary support teams answers when they need them, practical tools to do the work, and a real path to grow.”
Unlimited is available as a practice-wide subscription.
