Central Bark reported its strongest financial quarter to date, with systemwide sales increasing 17% during the second quarter of 2026 as consumer demand for premium pet care services continued to grow.
The company also recorded an 11% increase in same-store sales, while more than half of its franchise locations posted record monthly revenue during the first six months of the year. Overall, 26 of Central Bark’s 44 locations achieved their highest monthly sales on record during the period.
Company leaders said the results reflect continued interest in personalized pet care services focused on dogs’ physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Franchise Network Builds on Growth
Central Bark credited its performance to consistent execution across its franchise system and investments in operational improvements.
During the quarter, the company introduced new marketing and operational initiatives and completed a network-wide rollout of a next-generation point-of-sale system designed to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
Four franchise locations also marked their one-year anniversaries during the quarter, including locations in Paradise Valley, Arizona; Danbury, Connecticut; Aurora, Illinois; and Rochester, Michigan.
Premium Pet Care Drives Expansion
Central Bark said growing consumer demand for premium pet services continues to support its expansion strategy.
The company noted that increasing numbers of pet owners—particularly Millennials and Generation Z consumers—view pets as family members, contributing to demand for higher levels of care and personalized services.
