Fetch Pet Insurance has launched Fetch Online Vet powered by Vetster, providing Fetch Pet members with virtual access to veterinary care professionals directly through the Fetch Pet app.
The service is included at no additional cost and allows members to seek help with everyday pet health questions and concerns without paying upfront costs or filing a claim themselves.
Fetch Pet partnered with Vetster to provide virtual veterinary care for common concerns that can arise between regular clinic visits. Fetch Pet and Vetster handle the administrative process for appointments booked through the service and track use against the member’s $1,000 annual limit for televet service.
“At Fetch Pet, our mission is to help pets live longer, healthier lives, and one of the ways we do that is by making pet care more accessible for pet parents,” said Samantha McKinnon, chief experience officer at Fetch Pet Insurance.
Four video appointments and unlimited chat
Fetch Online Vet powered by Vetster provides members with four video veterinary appointments each year and unlimited chat with veterinary care professionals.
Members can connect with Vetster veterinarians for prescriptions and refills, nutrition, behavioral and general wellness support. The service also covers common concerns including allergies, skin irritation, vomiting or diarrhea, and minor cuts and wounds.
The service provides pet parents with another way to access veterinary support when visiting a clinic is difficult because of transportation, mobility, scheduling or a pet’s anxiety around veterinary visits.
“Pet health isn’t just about an annual checkup or an emergency trip to the clinic. It’s about having access to proactive, comprehensive veterinary care whenever questions or concerns arise,” said Kristen Johnson, chief growth officer at Vetster.
