Hill’s Pet Nutrition Names New Global and U.S. Customer Development Leaders

Hill’s Pet Nutrition has promoted Keith Wilkinson to lead global customer development and named pet care industry veteran Carolyn Belloni as his successor overseeing the company’s U.S. customer development organization.
  • Keith Wilkinson has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Customer Development at Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
  • Carolyn Belloni will join Hill’s as Senior Vice President, Customer Development, Hill’s US.
  • Wilkinson previously led Hill’s U.S. customer development organization, where the company credits him with helping deliver record sales and sustained share growth.
  • Belloni brings more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in pet care and consumer packaged goods.
  • The appointments support Hill’s efforts to strengthen retail and veterinary partnerships across global and U.S. markets.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition has announced two senior leadership appointments within its customer development organization, promoting Keith Wilkinson to a global role and bringing Carolyn Belloni on board to oversee customer development in the United States.

Wilkinson has been named Senior Vice President, Global Customer Development. In the position, he will lead Hill’s worldwide customer development strategy, with a focus on expanding the company’s presence and strengthening relationships with retail and veterinary partners across international markets.

Belloni will succeed Wilkinson as Senior Vice President, Customer Development, Hill’s US, bringing more than two decades of commercial leadership experience to the position.

Wilkinson moves from U.S. to global leadership

Wilkinson joined Hill’s parent company Colgate-Palmolive in 2005 as a Customer Marketing Executive in Ireland. His subsequent roles included Director of Retail Marketing for Hill’s US and General Manager of Hill’s Mexico & Latin America before he returned to lead the U.S. customer development organization.

As Senior Vice President of Customer Development for Hill’s US, Wilkinson helped reshape the company’s go-to-market model using a data-driven approach and implemented an omni-commercial planning process centered on joint value planning. Hill’s said those efforts, along with Wilkinson’s focus on talent development and partnerships, contributed to record sales and sustained market share growth in the region.

“Keith’s impact on our US business cannot be overstated,” Hill’s President Yvonne Hsu said. She added that Wilkinson’s focus on talent development, partnerships and commercial strategy would help strengthen the company’s retail and veterinary relationships globally.

Wilkinson said he plans to build on the momentum established by the U.S. organization as he moves into the global position.

“It has been a privilege to lead the US customer development organization, and I am incredibly proud of the growth and modernized partnerships we’ve built together,” Wilkinson said. “I look forward to taking this momentum to the global stage, continuing to bring Hill’s science-led nutrition to more pets everywhere.”

Belloni takes leadership of U.S. customer development

Belloni joins Hill’s with more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience spanning the pet care and broader consumer packaged goods industries.

Most recently, she served as Chief Sales Officer at Targeted Pet Care, where she led commercial strategy and partnerships across e-commerce, pet specialty, grocery and mass-market channels. Her experience includes working with major omnichannel retailers such as Chewy, Amazon, PetSmart and Petco.

Rauf Gurbuz, executive vice president and Hill’s US general manager, described Belloni as an experienced commercial leader with expertise in the pet category and omnichannel distribution.

“Her deep expertise in the pet category and omni-channel distribution makes her the perfect fit to build upon Keith’s success and lead our US CDO into its next chapter of growth,” Gurbuz said.

Belloni said she looks forward to working with Hill’s customers to pursue growth in the U.S. market.

“Hill’s Pet Nutrition has a remarkable legacy of transforming pets’ lives through science, and I am thrilled to join this passionate team,” she said. “I look forward to partnering with our customers across the US to drive mutual growth.”
