  • Synexis and Penn Veterinary Supply have announced a strategic distribution collaboration.
  • The agreement expands access to Synexis DHP® technology for veterinary and animal health professionals across the U.S.
  • The technology is designed to continuously reduce airborne and surface pathogens between routine cleaning and disinfection.
  • The companies say the partnership supports evolving biosecurity practices in veterinary clinics, shelters, equine facilities, boarding operations and other animal care settings.

Synexis, LLC has entered into a strategic collaboration with Penn Veterinary Supply to expand nationwide availability of its Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP®) pathogen control technology for veterinary and animal health facilities.

Through the partnership, Penn Veterinary Supply will offer Synexis DHP technology to veterinary clinics, equine hospitals, shelters, boarding facilities and other animal care organizations seeking to strengthen indoor biosecurity and environmental hygiene.

Unlike traditional cleaning and disinfection protocols that are performed periodically, Synexis DHP technology is designed to provide continuous pathogen reduction in occupied indoor spaces by helping reduce airborne and surface microbes between scheduled cleaning events.

According to the companies, the collaboration reflects growing demand within veterinary medicine for layered infection prevention strategies that complement existing sanitation protocols rather than replace them.

Synexis CEO Dennis Doyle said the partnership will help veterinary professionals adopt a more proactive approach to managing pathogen exposure in animal care environments, where contamination risks can persist between routine cleaning cycles.
