SUPERZOO Teams With US Vet Shows to Bring Accredited CE to Veterinary Professionals

SUPERZOO is expanding its reach into veterinary medicine through a new partnership with US Vet Shows, bringing accredited continuing education focused on practice management, workforce challenges, client communication, and business growth to the pet industry's largest retail trade event.
  • SUPERZOO will offer accredited veterinary continuing education for the first time in 2026.
  • The program is being launched in partnership with US Vet Shows, organizer of New York Vet and Wild West Vet.
  • CE sessions will focus on workforce retention, client relationships, revenue growth, and practice operations.
  • The initiative reflects growing convergence between veterinary care, pet retail, wellness, and client service.
  • SUPERZOO 2026 will take place Aug. 12–14 in Las Vegas, with education beginning Aug. 11.

SUPERZOO will debut accredited veterinary continuing education at its 2026 event through a new partnership with US Vet Shows, marking a significant expansion of veterinary programming at North America’s largest pet retail trade show.

US Vet Shows, which produces the New York Vet and Wild West Vet conferences, will develop and deliver accredited CE sessions designed for veterinarians, practice managers, and veterinary teams. The collaboration brings established veterinary education programming to an event traditionally focused on pet retail, grooming, wellness, and product innovation.

Veterinary Business Challenges Take Center Stage

Unlike many clinical CE programs, the educational track will focus on the operational and business realities facing veterinary practices. Planned sessions will address workforce retention, client communication, revenue growth, customer experience, and practice management strategies.

Topics scheduled for the inaugural program include the financial impact of employee turnover, managing challenging client interactions, identifying growth opportunities within the pet owner journey, and improving client experience to support practice performance.

According to organizers, the curriculum reflects the evolving role of veterinary practices, which increasingly balance clinical care with retail offerings, wellness programs, and client education initiatives.

“Veterinary professionals are running businesses, and the challenges they face day to day are not that different from what every retailer, groomer, and wellness provider in this building is working through,” said Mike Karsting, senior vice president of the World Pet Association.

Strengthening Connections Across the Pet Industry

The partnership also highlights the growing overlap between veterinary medicine and the broader pet care industry. As pet owners seek integrated solutions for nutrition, wellness, preventive care, and healthcare products, veterinary teams are becoming more closely connected to retail and consumer-facing sectors.

For US Vet Shows, the collaboration extends its educational reach to a broader audience of pet industry professionals. For SUPERZOO, the addition of accredited veterinary CE creates a new avenue for engaging veterinary decision-makers alongside retailers, manufacturers, distributors, groomers, and wellness providers.

The event attracts approximately 22,000 pet industry professionals annually and showcases new products across pet health, nutrition, diagnostics, wellness, technology, and practice-support categories.

SUPERZOO 2026 will be held Aug. 12–14 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, with educational programming beginning Aug. 11.
