CityVet is expanding its footprint in Texas with the opening of a new clinic in Austin’s Mueller neighborhood, scheduled to open April 27. The practice will be owned and operated by Dr. Reagan Wilson, a longtime local veterinarian with more than two decades of clinical experience.

Located on Airport Boulevard, the clinic will provide a full range of services, including preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care, with the capability to perform emergency procedures when needed.

A Community-Focused Expansion

The new location reflects CityVet’s model of locally owned practices led by veterinarians embedded in their communities. Dr. Wilson, a Cherrywood resident since 2006, said the clinic is designed to serve a neighborhood she already knows well.

“From the moment clients walk through the door, I want them and their pets to feel welcomed, cared for, and respected,” Wilson said. “Creating an environment where pets feel at ease and clients feel truly heard is at the core of how I practice medicine.”

Bringing Emergency Experience to General Practice

Dr. Wilson’s background includes extensive work in emergency and urgent care settings, where she developed expertise in triage, complex case management, and critical care decision-making. She now aims to bring that experience into a community-based setting that supports pets throughout their lives.

The clinic is also positioned to meet a growing demand for urgent care services in the Mueller and surrounding neighborhoods, where access has been limited.

Supporting Growth Through Local Ownership

CityVet leadership emphasized that the expansion aligns with its strategy of empowering veterinarians to own and lead practices within their communities.

“Dr. Wilson isn’t just opening a clinic in Austin—she’s continuing her role as a trusted neighbor and resource for local pet families,” said CityVet CEO David Boguslawski.

CityVet Mueller represents the company’s continued growth across the U.S., with more than 80 veterinarian-owned practices offering integrated services including veterinary care, boarding, and grooming.

For Dr. Wilson, the opening marks both a professional milestone and a personal investment in her community, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering accessible, high-quality care.
