Wellness Pet Company showcased a wide range of new cat and dog nutrition products at Global Pet Expo 2026, highlighting innovations focused on protein-forward diets, life-stage nutrition, and convenient feeding options for pet owners.
The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said the new products were developed to meet evolving consumer expectations for high-quality ingredients and functional nutrition while maintaining strong taste appeal for pets.
Expanding life-stage nutrition for cats
Wellness Pet Company expanded its wet cat food portfolio with new offerings across its Appetizing Entrées and Signature Selects lines.
The Appetizing Entrées line now includes four new recipes formulated specifically for kittens and senior cats. Kitten formulas are designed with DHA to support brain and eye development, while senior-focused Age Advantage recipes include added taurine to support heart health and vitality. The recipes are available in multiple textures, including mousse, flaked, and shredded varieties.
The company also expanded its Signature Selects line with seven new gourmet recipes, including two options for kittens. The recipes feature premium proteins such as lamb, quail egg, and turkey liver and are designed with protein as the first ingredient. The foods include hand-packed flakes of tuna or shreds of chicken served in sauces or broths to help support hydration while enhancing palatability.
New meal and nutrition options for dogs
For dogs, Wellness introduced several new products designed to combine nutrition, taste, and convenience.
The new Protein Bowls line features eight shelf-stable recipes packaged in resealable pouches. The meals are slow cooked and contain visible ingredients such as diced vegetables, grains, and herbs, with protein listed as the primary ingredient.
The company also launched Complete Health+ kibble, which includes freeze-dried Wellbites designed to increase both flavor and protein content. The freeze-drying process removes moisture while helping preserve taste. The new kibble formulas are available in chicken, whitefish, and small-breed turkey varieties and are formulated to support whole-body health.
In addition, Wellness expanded its WHIMZEES dental chew portfolio with a new XL value box format. The Brushzees chews carry the Veterinary Oral Health Council seal of acceptance for supporting canine oral health and are designed to provide extended chewing time and daily dental cleaning.
Commemorating a century of Old Mother Hubbard
The company is also marking the 100th anniversary of its Old Mother Hubbard brand with a limited-edition treat called P’Nutty B-Day Party. The product was created in collaboration with Milk Bar and features real peanut butter topped with dog-safe vanilla yogurt icing.
The anniversary celebration is being highlighted during Global Pet Expo, where Wellness is hosting an event and distributing treats and giveaways at its booth.
The new products are being showcased during Global Pet Expo, held March 25–27 in Orlando, Florida.
