Paw Prosper has expanded its veterinary scholarship program for 2026, increasing the number of awards available to students and veterinary professionals pursuing continuing education.

This year, the company will award four scholarships valued at $1,000 each, including two Student of Veterinary Medicine scholarships and two Continuing Education scholarships.

Application Details

Applications are open to students enrolled in accredited veterinary medicine programs as well as veterinary professionals pursuing continuing education in the United States and Canada.

Veterinary students must submit a 1,000-word essay describing how they hope to contribute to the advancement of the profession, while continuing education applicants are asked to reflect on how their careers have aligned with or differed from their original expectations.

The application period opens June 1 and closes Aug. 31, 2026.

Supporting Veterinary Education

Paw Prosper said the expansion follows record interest in the program during 2025 and reflects growing demand for educational support across the veterinary profession.

“We want to reduce the barrier to entry for students and professionals in continuing education,” said Ryan DeCaire, CEO of Paw Prosper.

The company recently expanded its educational footprint through the acquisition of the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and Onlinepethealth, two organizations focused on veterinary rehabilitation training and continuing education.

Veterinary students, technicians, rehabilitation professionals, and other eligible animal health professionals are encouraged to apply or share the opportunity with colleagues and classmates.
