Two Organizations Receive Top Awards

This year’s highest awards went to Heartland Therapeutic Riding, Inc. and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, with each organization receiving $10,000 in funding.

Heartland Therapeutic Riding, located near Kansas City, provides equine-assisted services designed to improve physical and emotional well-being for individuals with disabilities and other specialized needs. The organization was nominated by Dechra Regulatory Affairs Specialist Jenn Schwanke, who cited both her volunteer experience and the organization’s impact on participants.

The remaining 22 recipient organizations span animal welfare, human health, disability support, and community service initiatives, reflecting the broad range of causes supported by Dechra employees.
