Independent veterinary practices continue to face mounting operational pressures, including rising costs, increasing client expectations, and growing competition from third-party retailers. Covetrus says its VetSuite program was designed to help practices address those challenges through connected technology, supplier savings, rebates, and operational support.
According to the company, VetSuite combines the capabilities of the Covetrus Platform with a nationwide network intended to help independent clinics strengthen profitability while maintaining clinical independence.
“Reaching 4,000 members is a reflection of what’s possible when independent veterinary practices are supported to succeed,” said Ben Wolin, president and CEO of Covetrus. “We built VetSuite so that veterinarians and their teams can spend less time on the operational side and more time doing what they love — caring for animals.”
Covetrus reported that VetSuite has delivered nearly $150 million in cumulative member benefits since launch. The company also stated that participating practices average approximately $30,000 annually in savings through rebates, preferred supplier programs, pricing discounts, and related support services.
The company added that VetSuite members generated 27% more online pharmacy revenue per DVM during 2026 compared to independent clinics not enrolled in the program. To date, participating practices have collectively received more than $60 million in rebates, according to Covetrus.
Covetrus said the continued expansion of the VetSuite network is helping strengthen relationships across the animal health industry while supporting independent practices seeking to remain competitive in a changing marketplace.
