NASHVILLE, TN — Viticus Group, the nonprofit organization behind WVC, announced the launch of KNACK Tracks™ at the inaugural WVC Nashville conference, taking place Aug. 15–18 at Music City Center. Designed as an elevated continuing education experience, KNACK Tracks combines small-group instruction, hands-on learning, and assessment-based training to help veterinary professionals build practical clinical skills with immediate real-world application.

KNACK — short for Keys to Navigating and Applying Clinical Knowledge — offers participants a guided learning journey with direct instructor feedback and a certificate of completion awarded upon successfully passing the course assessment. The premium CE tracks are offered as add-on educational experiences separate from standard WVC Nashville registration.

“For nearly a century, Viticus Group has provided world-class veterinary continuing education in Las Vegas. With WVC Nashville, we aren’t just expanding our reach, but we are launching another level of excellence,” said Andrea Davis, chief executive officer (CEO), Viticus Group. “The KNACK Tracks are specially built for those who value low instructor-to-participant ratios and gaining elevated skills that they can put into practice immediately.”

Different than a standard WVC education session or standalone hands-on lab, KNACK Tracks are designed to:

-Build confidence through robust education such as pre-course work, hands-on lab training and a final practical assessment, earning the participant both RACE-approved CE credits and, upon passing, a KNACK Track™ badge and certificate of completion for each course that reflects demonstrated competence

-Create networking connections in a small group setting as each KNACK Track™ has limited capacity available for focused instruction, allowing for greater guidance and coaching opportunities.

Four KNACK Track™ experiences are available at WVC Nashville on various dates and times; didactic sessions will be held at Music City Center and any associated KNACK Track™ hands-on labs will be held offsite at the new Viticus Group Nashville Center:

Introduction to Stifle Surgery for the Novice Orthopedist: Arthrotomy, Meniscus Management and Extra-Capsular Stabilization (ECS) on Sunday, Aug. 16 (didactic session held at Music City Center; hands-on lab included and held at Viticus Group Nashville Center)

Urolithiasis Essentials: A Hands-On Surgical Foundations Course for Canine & Feline Patients on Monday, Aug. 17 (didactic session held at Music City Center; hands-on lab included and held at Viticus Group Nashville Center)

Clinic Social Media Lab: Crafting Your Social Media Success Toolkit on Saturday, Aug. 15 (held at Music City Center; no hands-on lab included)

Veterinary Practice Efficiency Series – The Efficiency Evolution: Turning Insight into Action on Monday, Aug. 17 (held at Music City Center; no hands-on lab included)

With its flagship WVC Annual Conference continuing in Las Vegas, Viticus Group remains dedicated to providing unmatched continuing education as it welcomes participants to its second home in Nashville. The new facility, located approximately 5 minutes from Nashville International Airport and approximately 15 minutes from Music City Center, is a cutting-edge bioskills training center designed to provide advanced hands-on education for veterinary and human health professionals. Additionally, WVC Nashville, the first new national veterinary continuing education conference in more than 40-plus years, is an experience that will match the energy and level of continuing education that WVC participants expect, expanding Viticus Group’s legacy of delivering premier continuing education and networking opportunities. Specifically, with the concentration of veterinary professionals in the geographic areas near Nashville, the accessible and centrally located city provided a logical choice to create an additional home for Viticus Group.
